During Quarter 2, the Egalitarian Society, in collaboration with CARING FOR COMMUNITIES AND PEOPLE (CCP), delivered a structured outreach programme in Manchester Piccadilly aimed at supporting individuals experiencing homelessness.

The initiative focused on the provision of essential resources, including sleeping bags, blankets, and warm clothing, as well as hot food and beverages such as tea and coffee, addressing immediate welfare needs.

In parallel, the programme prioritised signposting and engagement with longer-term support pathways. Individuals were assisted in accessing relevant services, including housing support and mental health provisions, and guided on how to engage with local authorities and support organisations.

Insights gathered through direct engagement have informed the ongoing development of our community strategy, ensuring future interventions remain targeted, responsive, and impactful.

This project demonstrates the value of cross-sector collaboration in addressing complex social challenges and reinforces our commitment to sustainable, community-focused impact.
